What do we do?

  1. Weed, weed, weed - mainly garden escapees (we keep spraying to a minimum)

  2. Plant new areas with local native plants, plant stormwater drains to mitigate run off into the lake, and replace plants that don’t survive.

  3. Members service a line of DOC 200 traps in the reserve to help protect the birds and skinks present. The line is provided through the Wānaka backyard Trapping Group.

  4. Collect rubbish-mainly plastic, broken glass and bottles/cans biffed under trees.

  5. Report any damage.
