The Camp and Cross Hill Lodge & Domes are looking for a Grounds and Facilities manager.

We are a progressive outdoor accommodation business that specialises in unique accommodation and delivering an outstanding guest experience, which is the centre piece of everything we do.Only 15km outside of Wanaka, the property is set amongst 20 hectares of the most beautiful lakeside land you could imagine. The successful candidate would not only manage the 20ha grounds of the park which include powered and non-powered sites, cabins, cottages, a tiny house, 3 glamping villages, Cross Hill Lodge & Domes and 2 holiday houses but would also manage the grounds of a high-country homestead.

Our ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, loves people, is motivated, brings a positive attitude and is level-headed. They can work across multiple property types and thrive under pressure.

You will be responsible for;

  • Ensuring the grounds and facilities contribute to an outstanding guest experience

  • Ensuring that the proactive maintenance schedules reduce costs

  • Delivering a leading Health and Safety programme that minimises incidents and risk

  • Leading sustainable landscaping projects

  • Delivering an environmentally sustainable waste management plan

  • Leading a seasonal grounds team.

  • Loving your job and workplace.

You have;

  • The ability to work autonomously and be self-motivated.

  • Great time management and planning skills

  • The ability to manage multiple sites

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong guest experience focus

  • Experience in grounds and facilities maintenance

  • Experience in landscaping irrigation and horticulture

  • A genuine team culture mindset

  • The ability to work weekends

  • Have reasonable computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
